Flying Main Page
I fly a Cessna 180 on floats. There is nothing like flying over the Canadian Wilderness and landing at remote lakes.

I started flying in 1997 in Yorkton Saskatchewan at Leading Edge Aviation. The first summer I flew a Cessna 150 and completed my Private Pilot License. The following year I completed a night rating and began flying the Cessna 172. Over the next few years I completed my Commercial Pilot License and Flight Instructor Rating. In 2002 I followed an opportunity to fly floatplanes rather than working as a flight instructor. I moved to Leaf Rapids Manitoba and spent the summer training on a Cessna 180 and Beaver on floats. In the fall of 2002 I purchased the Cessna 180 that I spent the summer flying. I became the owner of a 1957 Cessna 180 registration GDQZ. Since then I have used it in the operation of fly in fishing camps that I own and operate. Eveyr summer a huge higlight is to fly around northern Saskatchewan, in and out of remote lakes.
